Version 0.8 of Holler Box includes MailPoet 3 integration for your email opt-in forms.
MailPoet 3 is still in beta, but it will be released later this year. It has a lot of great new features, including an API for developers that was a pleasure to work with.
If you aren’t familiar with MailPoet, it is a free plugin that allows you to send newsletters and capture emails through your WordPress admin. If you don’t want to use a service like MailChimp or Convertkit for your email marketing, this plugin is a great free solution.
Holler Box allows you to add email subscribers right to your MailPoet 3 lists. To use it, first install and activate MailPoet 3 beta. View their installation instructions, and create a new list. Please note that you are using this plugin at your own risk while it is still in beta.
With MailPoet 3 active and at least 1 list, you can now create a new Holler Box using MailPoet for the opt-in. Choose MailPoet, select your list, and save.
New subscribers will now appear in the MailPoet list you selected.
